Brain Fighters
If you have some Fringe-tots in your group, this is a good show to take them to. The cast is fun to watch. Mo Perry is especially delightful. The staging was very clean and simple. The set was pretty much non-existent. There were two giant rocks that were never really used, so I’m not sure why they were there. The costumes were basic and neat. The script, however was not up to par with everything else. With the amount of ticket sales this group will most likely bring in this year, based on past Fringe shows, I would have liked a stronger story. It seemed a bit lazy…a bit jumbled…and lacked an ending that made me care.
Though, the actors were good and the direction was clean, the script lacked sparkle.
I give this show Three Gaye Golden Stars
