HISTORY THEATRE CONTINUES TO SUCK
I just stumbled upon an audition for the History Theatre’s upcoming show Tyrone and Ralph which was written by Jeffery Hatcher who I guess isn’t quite dead yet. This most unfortunately titled show tells the story of Tyrone Guthrie and Ralph Rapson, who was the architect of the old Guthrie Theater.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waiting on pins and needles for this story to be told. Oh, what shenanigans those two must’ve gotten into. I just can’t wait.
Can someone explain to me how the History Theatre comes up with these shows? Does the board consist of my Nana and her bridge buddies? I could find more ground-breaking art on the back of a box of Cap’n Crunch.
Great, now I’m hungry.
