CITY PAGES…DOESN’T SUCK?
Two “theatres on the fringe” grabbed some much deserved recognition today when the City Pages published its annual Best of the Twin Cities issue.
Minneapolis Musical Theatre’s Jerry Springer The Opera was named “Best Comedy” while Open Eye Figure Theatre grabbed the title of “Best Theater for Drama”.
This is the portion of the post where I usually write something smarmy and rant about how much the StarTribune sucks or how disgustingly huge the Children’s Theatre Company’s budget is…but…I think I’m okay today.
