I have to first admit that I’ve got a little Fringe crush on Noah Bremer. He is instantly charming. Performance art isn’t generally my favorite thing to see. There were moments in the show, when I was wondering what people were laughing at. But there were also moments when I was completely enthralled with what Bremer was doing. He clearly loves what he does, and he loves to entertain. To watch Bremer perform, is to realize what the Fringe is all about; taking a risk, having fun, and hopefully entertaining the masses.
The house seemed to be filled with people who knew Bremer. I wonder if this show would be as successful if it were taken to people that didn’t know Noah Bremer. Not that I should judge a show based on a “what if” scenario…just something to think about.
