HOLDING PATTERNS

Anyone who saw Gone, Gone, Gone last year is super excited about the return of Dan Schuchart and Monica Rodero. Their 2008 show was fresh, charming, and playful and this year they didn’t disappoint. Holding Patterns is a wonderful and beautiful collection of pieces that remind me why I like to see dance. Their lighthearted and whimsical style is evidenced by Dan conducting an orchestra in scuba gear and Monica flopping around in a 30-foot mermaid’s tail. They’re also two of the nicest people ever.
