The crazy kids from Bakery Theatre Company are back, and no, they haven’t gotten any less crazy.
The absurdist chaos in Thin Mint doesn’t feel quite as organized as it did in Audish, but that doesn’t stop this cast from having just as much fun. Stand-outs include Dylan Frederick as the fake-accent-dropping “Sterling”, Madde Gibba as the cookie-chomping “Mama”, and Maeve Moynihan as the knife-licking “Chloe”.
This show is hit and miss. There are bits of absolute brilliance living side-by-side with moments of brow-scrunching confusion. But when all is said and done, these young performers are still churning out theatre that is way, way beyond their years.
